A world with character

Rune (working title) is a single-player, party-based RPG with a stylized, geometric 3D look. We have a visual direction in mind and will share references when we talk.

You’ll work across characters, props, and environments, helping everything feel like it belongs together. Even the suspiciously well-made crate.

What you'd make

  • Characters with personality Distinct silhouettes, expressive shapes, and a consistent style.
  • Characters that move Rigs and animations, adapted from existing ones where we have them and built new where we don’t.
  • Environments and props Modular pieces that belong in the same world as the characters.
  • Art that works in-game Models, textures, and materials that hold up under the game’s camera and lighting.

Start focused, grow from there

We’d begin with a small set of assets, agreeing the scope together before work starts. From there, we can expand if it’s a good fit on both sides.

How we'll work together

We’ll bring references, clear briefs, and feedback. You’ll bring your eye and ideas — including telling us when something could work better.

We’ll agree on scope, deliverables, and revisions up front. Strong opinions are welcome; telepathy isn’t required.

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio of stylized 3D work, especially characters.
  • Confidence with modeling, UVs, texturing, and preparing assets for a game engine.
  • Solid rigging and animation skills: adapting existing rigs and animations to our characters, and creating them for new models that have none.
  • Clear communication, realistic timelines, and a constructive approach to feedback.

Nice to have — pluses, not dealbreakers

  • Hard-edged or geometric styles in your portfolio
  • Unreal Engine 5
  • Stylized materials and shaders
  • Modular environment workflows

Send us your work

Send a link to your portfolio, especially stylized characters and anything you’ve brought into an engine. Include your availability and preferred rate or pricing approach. No cover letter required.
